Shuttle   “Skipper! Launch airlock is activated! I’m attempting to override, but someone’s changed the authorization codes!”
---
Common Room   As much as Els wanted to get back to her cabin and put on boots, she knew better when she saw most of her crew hanging in the common area at the top of the stairs.
---
Crew Quarters   Els glanced at the foot of her bunk, seeing the butt print that indicated she hadn’t hallucinated Austin's visit.
---
Promenade   "Tell you what, I’ll take you to the front of the ship where we can see the stars. It’s a better view than what you’d get on the bridge any day.”
---
Med Bay   It wasn’t much warmer here. Why did hospitals and the like keep things so chilly? Wouldn’t it be better to keep the patient warm? Facilitate healing and all that?
---
Engineering   "We may have taken a little creative license, ja."
---
Dorsal & Ventral Turrets   Tobias crowed as his beam hit another of the strange ships. “One to one, Kas! Betcha I can take out more than you can!”
---
Escape Pods   "I dosed him with a bit of doxylamine. He’s sleeping in an escape pod now.”
---
Upper Cargo Hold & Catwalks   Els turned to see her gunner and unofficial second-in-command, Kasli Holt, stroll down the stairs from above.
---
Tracked ATV   “Out of the way, ladies.” Hrothgar pushed between Els and Bennie, attaching a chain to the rolling pallet. “We’ve got three hours to get this load in, settled and powered up before we drop planet.”
---
Bridge   Els’s board was green as she strapped into her chair, the lights indicating systems were normal. From her position, she noted the same on Austin’s board but couldn’t quite see Naya’s in its entirety from this angle.
---
Computer Room   “Captain? Can I see you for a minute?”

Els saw Naya poking her head out from the computer room door.
---
Cargo Hold   Els scanned the nearly full cargo bay, her satisfaction distorted by the healthy concern of an independent contractor.
---
Low Berths   Els knelt next to the pod, running her hand across the control panel. The lights were all amber and red, as opposed to the green on all the others. “Power is still running to this thing, right?”
---
Fuel Tanks   “We need fuel before we can jump system. Kol’s right about the amount of intact detritus—we might be able to locate a fuel dump en route to our next jump point across system, so we’re skirting the system."
